Kelsea Ballerini got the honor of a lifetime last night as Carrie Underwood inducted her into the Grand Ole Opry as an official member.
After the induction Carrie Underwood took to Twitter to say, “Congratulations,
@KelseaBallerini !!! This is forever!”
Maren Morris also wished Kelsea well on Twitter posting, “I’m not crying, YOU ARE CRYING. Congrats
@KelseaBallerini and to you @carrieunderwood for such an emotional introduction. This was so beautiful.”
Earlier in the day before she took the Opry stage, Ballerini’s husband, Morgan Evans, shared on Twitter, “She’s being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry tonight. I’m beyond proud of her, beyond stoked for her, and absolutely shattered that I can’t be there. Sending all the love back to Nashville tonight as you join the most legendary country artists of all time in the Opry Family!”
Kelsea is the youngest member to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry family at 25.
