Ok, so by tomorrow morning we will all have survived the weekend closure of U.S. 95 between MLK and LV Blvd. Next up? A month-long closure of a major connector ramp in the Spaghetti Bowl.
Beginning Monday night at 9, NDOT will be closing down the ramp that takes you from 95N to 15S, and that's going to be 24/7 for the next 30 days.
Detours will be posted of course, with NDOT suggesting you exit at MLK, and then take MLK to Pinto Lane, site of the brand new onramp to 15S that opened last week. Nothing to it.
Again, all these closures, restrictions, detours and headaches are in the name of Project Neon, the eventual widening of I-15 between the Spaghetti Bowl and Sahara. The project is 60% done, with completion set for the fall of 2019. For drivers who battle that construction on a daily basis, another year old a half is going to feel like 1,000. Enjoy!
