Short of building furniture on stage during concerts, it can be tough to find time to maintain your craftsman chops if you're a country star skilled in that department.
Eric Paslay has figured it out, though. The multi-talented DIY-loving country crooner has joined forces with Habitat for Humanity as it kicks off its Home is the Key campaign in April. For those unfamiliar, the charity builds affordable housing for families in need.
Eric has participated in multiple home builds with Habitat, so partnering with them was a pretty obvious choice. "The thing I love the most about country music is it has to do with the soul and family; going back to the good things that built you," he says in a press release. "I think everything Habitat for Humanity is about is helping others. Understanding the values of not just having a house but building a home and coming together as a community." Good for him, right?
