If you're a beer snob, you'll go out of your way to get your hands on rare brews.
Part of the fun is spending money to sample unique beers, or traveling to different states to experience local breweries. But Sam Adams has created the ultimate test of how dedicated you REALLY are to your beer drinking.
The company is releasing an "extreme, barrel-aged beer" that's so potent (it's 28 percent ABV) that it's actually illegal in 12 states. If you're brave enough to try the beer, there are two things to know: 1.) there are only 13,000 bottles available across the country, so you'd better act quickly. 2.) Drinking this exclusive, super strong concoction is going to cost you. One bottle is priced at $199. Yep. You read that correctly.
