Country got plenty of love at last night's (5/21) 2017 Billboard Music Awards with Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton and Chris Stapleton all taking home trophies, not to mention performances by Sam Hunt ("Body Like a Back Road"), and FGL with John Legend ("Surefire," "H.O.L.Y.").
Kenny Chesney led the pack with two wins, one for Top Country Collaboration for his duet with P!nk "Setting The World On Fire" and another for Top Country Tour; Blake Shelton was named Top Country Artist; Florida Georgia Line took home a trophy for Top Country Song for "H.O.L.Y."; and Chris Stapleton's Traveller won Top Country Album. There was even a touch of country in the Christian categories with Hillary Scott & the Family winning the award for Christian Song with 2016's "Thy Will."
Awards aside, Blake reminded us how much we love him with a shout out to girlfriend Gwen Stefani. "I felt like I was the luckiest guy in the room anyway because Gwen is here with me," he gushed from the stage during his acceptance." Watch below.
