Miranda Lambert And Her Mutts Take Over Nashville

Miranda Lambert loves her rescue animals and she's sharing that love with fans at the 2017 CMA Music Festival next month in Nashville.

The reigning ACM Female Vocalist of the Year will lead the inaugural MuttNation March on opening day, June 8. The canine parade for rescue dogs and fans alike will begin at Nissan Stadium and cross Nashville's famous pedestrian bridge before ending in downtown Nashville. There the MuttNation Foundation Adoption Drive will get underway inside CMA Fan Fair X and continue throughout the festival. Check out Miranda's invitation below.

"So many shelter pets need a home, so we are going to march to raise awareness,” Lambert says in a press release. "Country music has the best fans in the world and together we can help so many animals find amazing homes."

Fans and their "mutts" are encouraged to join in to help spread awareness for shelter pets. Registration is underway now at MuttNationFoundation.com. The cost to register is $15 and includes an event t-shirt to wear during the MuttNation March. Those unable to attend can still help by entering the MuttNation Shelter Day Sweepstakes with a donation. Prizes include the chance to make over an animal shelter with Miranda, among other fun experiences.

So what are you and your mutt(s) waiting for?
